Neither of us chose the color of our skin.
Neither of us controlled the history that divides us.
Do you hate me?
We both have problems, even if they are different.
We both worry, laugh, and cry.
Do you hate me?
I know sometimes I sit idle.
You know sometimes you do too.
Do you hate me?
You don’t know me.
You don’t know my heart.
I don’t hate you.
I don’t know you.
I don’t know your heart.
