Thoughts
The white sheep in a hoard of black sheep stands out
We will never truly be equal
There are an infinite amount of numbers between zero and one
And I could die tomorrow
For these are the things I think about
There are children soldiers that do not sleep at night
There are people that do
The thoughts of true, forced love come into mind
Comforted by thoughts of “nothing is forever”
Past generations have left the planet in pieces
And I can’t do anything about the other kids getting shot in the head
Thoughts that sole the mind come into play
“I’m tired and I don’t want to love anymore”
For these are the things teens think about
The only thing we can do is pray
And hopefully we all live another day
Because I can not die today
For these are the things we think about
