Average Morning
Oh what a gloomy day
Treading through the path I have for far too many years
One step and then another; through the dark forest
into the cold hazy day, Brrrr
I take a deep breath and smell
the beautiful scent of pine needles,
Which are strewn across the white desert
I must leave now but I leave behind
the signature prints of my shoes, which
propel me towards the gaping hole
One I have familiarized myself with too well
I enter and see her; she greets me most days with a
Goodmorning and a kind smile I get greeted and I greet back
I sit and I wonder how the day will turn out
Oh what a mysterious day
