Two Poems for You
Speed of Life
Family, Friends, what must one simply have?
All these colossals spiral and spiral,
yet one's mood may sink ever deeper into the eternal slumber.
Winds are strong and the man of tales speaks,
as one continues to fall, helpless in despair.
One may try to grab onto a passing twig,
as to only realize the stem is nothing but dust.
Shocked and teared to the touch,
many may join, all seems well, but nothing is swell.
Everyone has days like these, just remember to find find the light in the box.
Gold Fish
A fresh new start to eternal life,
as the bag of tastes pours upon the ground.
Everything possible is scattered, abandoned,
or simply forgotten.
With wise words caressing one's heart,
only to continue thy shall do.
Many slumber to do greater,
as one struggles to hold the ceiling.
A ceiling of holes one may say, as ways around are present.
