Silence then Sound
When you are alone everything is quiet.
There are no birds chirping,
no whispers in the night.
Utter silence.
All alone in the world.
Armor is made to protect,
and is too strong to penetrate.
No one is let in.
Until one day there is sound.
It is bright and joyful,
everything that was to never exist returns.
There is sound and it is brilliant.
The fires of life return,
there is newfound purpose.
The birds are chirping,
and now the night is not so quiet
