I hate you~
I (my hands slide
to my sides and slip
into my pockets.
I feel my asthmatic chest
open,
my near sighted eyes
un-squint,
and my tight shoulders
slouch back.
A slight smile emerges,
as I feel the key to my mouth
open my locked feeling about you.
You have made this too easy for me,
you made it too easy
for me to hate.
You have given me no door for regret,
for what I am about to say
you’ve had coming.
In an emotionless tone,
eyes dead and locked,
smile still stuck,
the syllables are tapped out
by my tongue
without stutter.
The words are sewn together
like a classical masterpiece,
and flow through and out me
like a calm creak)
hate you.
