We Were The Ones
We were the ones
We were the ones
We were the men and women killed in the twin towers
We were the ones shot in Orlando
We were the men, women, and children shot senselessly in Las Vegas
And we were the ones killed in Manchester
But
We were the ones who committed those crimes
We were the ones who killed our friends, neighbors, families, and coworkers
And yes
We were the ones that killed ourselves
But we can be the ones
We can be the ones to fight back
We can be the ones to end terrorism
We can be the ones to avenge our familes
Friends
Loved ones
Acquaintances
We can be the ones to live together as one
In peace
We were the ones
Who made the choice to fix and fight back
