The Art of Art

I draw. I also paint. I very much dislike saying,
“I do art,”
Or,
“I am an artist,”

To me it seems very pretentious.
Maybe if I become a popular, well known artist, I could earn that title.

I have a large amount of pet peeves when it comes to art.
One is, cell shading.
I hate cell shading, when done wrong.

I also dislike when beginners are too big for their britches.
Not that I am super professional level.
But some beginners can’t accept critique or advice.
It is very annoying.

It is also very aggravating when people steal art.
Because they get recognition for art they didn’t
even do.

Tracing is also pretty bad.
It’s like stealing.
Some people do it if they don’t know how to do the pose.
Then they will draw the pose on their own.
Which is good.

Art can be an amazing thing.
Some people express themselves with art.
Others just draw because they like how the outcome looks.
Personally, I like both ways.

I do find it hard to draw my negative feelings though,
Since drawing a good picture takes more than 5 minutes.
So by the time I’m done with the drawing,
The process has already made me feel better.
