I was born with you
You were born with me.
My family crying
My family shocked
My family lying
My family blocked
Blocked everyone
Blocked anyone
Who would make fun of you.
You, you, you
Weren’t always good to me
I got bullied
I got no friends
I got no life
I got no defense.
But
You, you, you
You are the reason
Why I grew up
Faster than lightning
You are the reason why
I am who I am.
You are a part of me
I am a part of you.
People put me down
People threw me on the ground
People cut me out
People hated me for the fact
The fact that I live with you.
I swear to you
I swear to you,
I will never
Let ignorance
Throw you
Or me
Right on the brick floor
The brick floor
Of this cruel world.
Who are you
people ask
Who are you
people ask,
You are me.
