The mild, rosy petals remind him of her gentle touch
Her love and generosity shines through the sweet scent of lavender
Everyday he walks the same path, a path they once walked together
And stops at the corner where a purchase of lilacs was a weekly tradition
The tradition still continues, and the flowers stay fresh and pure
Just as her heart, will continue with him forever more
