Through the Looking Glass
Through the looking glass she sees
A young girl age of three.
She spun and twirled with not a care
Flinging her golden sunflower hair.
Some years have passed,
Now through the glass she sees
A growing girl of sixteen;
With hopes and dreams all her own
To one day even start a home.
Now a bride twenty three
Full of beauty and grace,
The apple of his eye
Tears stroll down his face.
With a conquering spirit,
Hard work, and shed tears,
Their house now a home,
Memories made through the years.
Through the looking glass she sees
The mother of three,
Endless bedtime stories
And bandaged knees.
Many tiring days,
Many prayers she has prayed,
That her kids would know love
From their great God above.
Now her children all grown,
With kids of their own.
Through the looking glass she sees
Her life now complete.
She sits in her chair
With her white silver hair,
Her Lord she's now ready to meet.
