Reality
Reality is not idealistic,
Nor is it a notional idea
Reality is truth,
Not an actual life, but a real absolute existence.
Reality is not fair:
It has never been.
A single life in this reality is hopeful
Born to think naive and humane
Tender and soft in and out
But when life goes on;
Everything changes.
Enduring harsh and cruel reality,
A thorn is formed from the being
No more ignorance.
No more simplicity.
Life has its twists and turns
And its highs and lows
We as one individual evolve as a human,
From the hardships that occur.
Reality is unforgiving and relentless
But hope and persistence is in our nature
We carry on and strive.
And the reality of this world
Can be beaten.
