I Could've...

I could’ve gone home
And left it alone.
I could’ve given in
How sad that would’ve been.
I could’ve given up
But I refused to lose hope.
I could’ve taken the easy way
Course I couldn’t hold my thoughts at bay.
I had to do more
I had to do the impossible
It’s who I am and who I was meant to be.
So please don’t tell me
What I could’ve done.
This was much more fun.
