Black seagulls paddle through the ocean, only to be overtaken by great white sharks. All the while the gulls continue to grow and swim, and they paddle through like never before, but each time watered-down, largening masses are swallowed. Gulls remain in nests, populating sands. They’re left alone, and eventually forgotten to the swells of salt and brine. Salt to the sea. Soon the dark gulls swim back into the waters and pass over sharks busy with low-lying, scaly swarms.
