the girl at the beach
i don't know why he still likes me
i'm not wanted anywhere
i know that soon he'll forget about me
all about the way that he feels
and he'll see that girl at the beach
i can imagine him undressing her with all the love in the world
i know that he'll always kiss her
even though he was too embarrassed to kiss me
i know that he'll fall in love
in love with her bright eyes
and forget all about the girl he once "liked"
he'll forget about my dull brown eyes
and my long brown boring hair
the marks on my wrists and my legs
that he used to kiss with care
he'll forget about my fake smile
about the tears in my eyes
but the first thing he'll forget
is why he ever even gave me a try
