Car Windows
We drove with the windows down for the first time.
It was only the first time that year, but somehow it felt like the first ever.
My hair blew in my face, getting in my eyes and making it hard to see.
I can’t be upset though.
The same wind blows her hair back, soothing her and massaging her scalp.
I can’t be upset.
She is at peace.
