Today was one of  those crappy days,
Where you wake up and think to yourself…
Why am i here?
Today was one of those days
Where i wanted to cry all day.
I kept telling myself “go to your happy place”,
But i never found the right time.

It’s never the right time!

Can't you see that he doesn't want you to be happy?
He doesn't want you to find your happiness
Because he knows that in there
You’ll find joy and love.
He is aware that in there, he won't be able to bother you
Because your attention will be set on someone else.

He knows that in my happy place
I find Freedom
I find Peace
I find Strength

Did you hear that?

In His presence, there is no space for you.
In His presence, your evil thoughts
Go through one ear and out of the other,
Like putting sand in a sieve.

When you tell me i am not strong
I remember that “I can do all things through him that strengthens me”.
When you tell me i am not enough
I remember that I am worth more than gold.
When you tell me i am not pretty
I remember that I was “fearfully and wonderfully made”.

Stop trying to bring me down
Can’t you see it’s not working?
Can’t you see that your demeaning words
Just draw me closer to him.
