Life is a Ballgame
Baseball
America’s favorite past time
The sport of home runs and strikeouts
Life is a ballgame
Baseball teaches how to fail
You fail every day in life
If you fail seven out of ten times
You are a baseball hall of famer
Just as in baseball
Life has ups and downs
You can’t control what cards you are dealt
You just have to make the most of it
Each base is and obstacle
You are tempted to give in, to stop trying
These are the times that define a person
The toughest go farthest in life
Life can feel long at times
The baseball season is long
You will feel tired
You must pick yourself up and keep going
Baseball builds relationships
Your teammates rely on you to get the job done
Allow yourself to trust others
And for others to be able to trust you
