Hourglass
Hourglass
The sand dripped steadily nearing closer and
closer to the end.
The anxiety is like
the thousands of
Tiny balls falling down,
it just keeps piling up, more, and more and more.
Grain after grain just falling, you fearing what will happen when that last tiny little pebble hits the ground.
You watch the
last morsel drop
and when it
hits the bottom,
TV TIME IS OVER!!!!!

This piece was inspired by an hourglass in my teachers room. I really like it and can’t wait to share my poem with the public.
