Painting
There's nothing better than a new start,
nothing better than art.
A blank canvas,
painting doesn't make me feel anxious.
I dip the bristles into the color
how the paint brush moves, it makes me wonder.
As I paint flowers that grow in the summer,
but then I see the rain outside, what a bummer.
I paint the center of the flower like a ball,
I wonder if I'm any good at all.
While my hand moves freely
the outer lines are drawn neatly.
While I sketch a dandelion,
with a sunset horizon,
it makes my eyes brighten.
While I drew the pictures with my imagination,
I could never erase,
I sketched the love in my heart,
like it would never be replaced.
