The bird keeps the sunrise
in its small beak
And leaves it out
For the whole world to see
But when the bird is gone
And it has tried to say good night
The bird rids the world
Of all the sunlight
So when feeling as though you have no purpose
And your confidence has become unfurled
Please remember that something as small as a bird
Can light up an entire world
