Hidden Colors

Most people see me as sunshine yellow,
smiling sincerely,
laughing loud,
and poised with positivity.
What people don’t see, however, is the gloomy grey caused by
stress in school,
failures with family,
and negativity near me.
I hide the grey, just as the sunshine hides the clouds.
