Why am I crying, you’re asking?
Crying does tend to be the
Natural response
When a person is
Feeling emotions of
A high caliber.
It is the natural
Response
To tremble
When one is
Cold, afraid, or angry.
It is the natural response
To throw a hard object at
The wall
When one is overwhelmed.
But is it the natural response
To fall asleep with
Red eyes,
Or wake up cramped and sore,
Or to come home to
Find a hole in the wall?
I don't know,
You tell me.

The author's comments:

The only way I've ever been able to express how I'm feeling was through my writing, and I wrote this after one of my best friends finally read what I wrote, and she asked me, "Why are you crying? Why are you crying yourself to sleep?" And she cared so much, and this was the only way to respond. I couldn't explain, so I wrote until my hands cramped and more tears came and went. Comment below why you cry and how you write about it.
