Love was the word
From his lips into your ears
Entered your brain
The sensation of his smile
The stroke of his hands
He loves you
This girl, anew, beautiful and slim
Who once was your friend
Young and graceful
Love was the word
From his lips to her heart
You saw from afar
His eyes met yours
He meets hers again
The betrayal
The hurt
The tears start running
You start running
His hands wrap around you
He loves you
You get caught up in the liquor and the lies of his eyes
Tripping up on the fantasy that truth was ever real
