As fast as time goes by
As fast as time goes by
I will no longer be that naive shy young girl
In less than two months, I will officially be a senior
Sooner than later it will be my turn to say my last first day
As fast as time goes by
I will no longer be that eighteen-year-old girl
I’ll be a freshman once again, learning to adapt to a new surrounding environment
This time with strangers and not classmates you’ve seen your entire life
As fast as time goes by
I will no longer be in school
I will be working like an adult
Living the life I worked so hard to accomplish for
As fast as time goes by
I will no longer be nurtured by my parents but make my own decisions as an adult
I will be a world traveler, observing and writing about different cultures and lifestyles
That’s it, that's what my life is all about
As fast as time goes by
I will meet the love of my life or at least I hope so
Marry him and start a family
It will be my turn to take care of my own kids rather than being the kid
As fast as time goes by
It will be my turn to say goodbye with open arms because there's nothing you or I could do about it
You will learn that everyone changes but adapts to every stage of life
Fast forward, It will be my turn to leave a legacy behind for future generations but it doesn't stop there because a tree never stops growing
