Can you see me?
Hey! Can you see me? I mean can you really see me? Can you see what I can be? What I can achieve? Or do you see the color of skin? See I’m the little black boy who can’t buy Skittles and walk up a street. I’m the black boy who have to fight harder just to eat. I’m the black boy with a dream and that’s not to shoot hoops... Im the black little boy holding up his hands saying “No Don’t Shoot” Again I asked Can you see me? Can you see me?......I’m the black boy with Malcom X on my chest, and Dr King on back, Frederick Douglass On my head and my ancestors around my neck.... I am Emmett Till and Travon Martin ... I’m a black boy with dreams... so if you can see me. You can see them... CAN YOU SEE ME!!!!!
