I wish
Among these million stars,
I know you are one of them.
I know you are the one, beside the beautiful moon.
I wish I could spend more days with you.
I still remember, each and every hour spent with you.
After school watching Jai hanuman with u.
I remember, how I used to wake you up from the bed,
And give u tea in your hands.
I wish I could see you during your last time,
With that natural smile.
I remember how you used to sing prayers for us.
And get worried whenever I was late from my school bus.
I remember, I still remember.
It has been 7 months I haven't seen you.
Why didn't you wait for me?
It was only the matter of 3 months
Why? Why? Why?
Give me the reason...
Were you not eager to meet me?
I swear, I already thought of a gift for you from the US.
Don't you wanna know what it was?
I was getting your blessings through the messages.
But Was WhatsApp enough for you?
Don't you feel giving them, directly to me?
Who is gonna sing the song that only you knew?
Who is gonna pet the animals in the house?
And who is gonna make us all laugh?
I wish I could see you last time,
With that natural smile.
I wish, I wish...
I know you are watching me from the heaven,
And I promise I will always make you proud of myself.
But I still, I still wish I could see you during your last breath...
