What it Means to be a "Girl"

Brush, Brush, Brush

The brush goes through my hair,

Scrape, Scrape, Scrape,

The fork scrapes against the plate as I move my food,

Smudge, smudge, smudge,

 I apply my makeup,

Walk, walk, walk,

I walk through the halls with a sway in my hips,

Click, Click, Click,

The clicking of pens fill my head,

Sob, sob, sob

I hate what I see in the mirror,

Snip, Snip, Snip,

I watch as the hair falls to the ground,

As I peer at myself again,

Smile.

I hope people will get that they don't have to live up to other peoples descriptions of beauty and live for their own!
