Typed words holding all the power
Black rectangles hiding people’s real faces
No one knows actual communication
We think this is how conversations are meant to be
Silence as we pass by
But instant click of the fingers
It’s like we are oblivious to the real world
But hold our eyes wide open for the fabricated one behind a screen
Who we are is determined in that phony world
And that thin piece of glass tells us our “popularity”
But really, it’s nothing
Just a fake world with fake information
It’s our world now
A fake world
