I accidentally missed school
It was only for one time
I’m usually a prompt student
I feel bad for staying up
Working as hard as a bee
Until the words on my homework
Blended with my desk
I sincerely apologize,
I will do all my assignments
And turn them in on time
But the bed was welcoming
It called my name
The sleep was succulent
