knots
My shoelace is knotted
As are the strands of my brain
When I tug everything gets tighter
Now I’m wet from seeping rain
She’s mad at me
But her and she are friends
So now her doesn’t like me
And the cutting begins
They say I eat healthy
But the skinnys are who don’t
Metabolism’s the answer
For those who don’t seek it
So I cut my hair
To see if they’ll like it
My new friend, needle
Sweeps through the air
Because my hair wasn’t enough to cut
Oops
There’s my forearm
It got in the way
My cover story begins
I “fall” a lot now
