Reality Check
Cool breeze of air whisks past my face
The intoxicating smell of pizza kisses my nose
I daydream of being immortal
Flying through the streets like smoke,
Breaking through all the semi-permeable crowds of grouchy pedestrians
Wild attitudes growl at younger people to go faster
Memories of loved ones linger in the hippocampus
Mousy females giggle at their petty gossip,
The hotheads clash on the way to their next destination
I need to reconcile my life,
Fake people dissolve like money in my account
I see and hear of little girls wanting to become popular,
But doing it wrong
Not like Drake, but people need to look alive
Stay in their lane
