The Holy
Heaven
please take me in
Since my
Birth at a measly 7.5 pounds
I was convinced
There was nothing greater than wishing on stars
There was nothing more delivering than getting down on my knees
devoting myself to
your name
Since I was a miracle.
A simple phrase to pull me up from my personal hell
I cling to the thought of lilac painted skies and white lilies dancing with my body
Falling yet flying
further into the sun
The light was a treasure I felt not worthy of
I am not nearly religious enough to deliver on my promises
I murmur prayers
Not proclaim
I whisper hymns
I preach to myself that I am holy
Only from the erasing emptiness I feel within myself
holy
Forever cursed
Heaven
I pray you take me in
For I am only lost when the clouds cover
Your
beauty
