Still Hoping

Every night is a tragedy,

When I lay in solitude,

The forlorn quietness,

The lost brightness,

My thoughts silent as death,

A part of me want to let go of you,

Yet another part wants to hold back,

Here I am,

Hoping against hope,

That someday you will return,

Run back into my arms,

And nourish me with your warmth...

I think this poem is a mouth piece for all those who have lost someone special or failed in a relation.
