The Day I Lost my Best Friend
I should have seen it coming
All the signs were clear
And I thought it was nothing
When she appeared
I knew this girl forever
She was my closest friend
But the past was severed
It’s come to a acerbic end
One day she disappeared `
At least the girl I had known
It was now a girl I feared
Like the trepidation of my gravestone
People always change
Of course I know of that
But this was very strange
Like a mystical black cat
And soon I’d become sad
that she had left us and gone
And soon I become mad
Everyday from dusk to dawn
The others at school hate her
And of course so do we
But I’ve come to know for sure...
This girl is me
