What a Day
I was just sitting there when you walked in
I immediately looked up when I heard the first “Who’s that?”
Your blue, ocean-like eyes scanned the room
When they got to me, a shudder ran up my spine
The sky that was in your eyes melted the chocolate in mine
You stopped dead when the view was met
Even though you were surrounded by sharks, hungry for you
You made your way over, so beautifully
I didn’t dare look away, to miss a moment of you might kill me
The only noise was “Her? She looks like a monster. Why?”
When you arrived at the chair, you moved out with such grace
I wanted to collapse right then and there,
But I couldn’t move, your eyes seemed to keep me in place
As if under a trance; what came next will forever be burned in my mind
You asked a question, the message never seemed to reach me
I took a napkin from under my latte and wrote
I packed up my things and left,
But not before I said good day
In my preferral line of vision I saw the napkin raise,
And a curved line appeared on your face
Right after exiting the door, my phone buzzed
As if you read my mind
(In this case, you read the napkin)
  You said Hey beautiful ;)
Thus begins the start of forever…

This is fiction and a somewhat epic love story.
