Facets of Blue
You reformed my once sunny perspective to
blue.
At the start I was a soft and subtle cerulean sky
with a lack of clouds.
In our abbreviated time together you turned me into a rapid, rocky river filled with the debris of your left-behind love.
Currently, I am a dark agean wave in the ocean just longing to be evaporated by another
I need to be taken back to the sky where I once found my home
but you and I both know that there are darker shades of blue waiting ahead for me. There is no escape. I am drowning.
Midnight Blue.
I wish you could suffer this darkness.
Yet there you sit; warm sunshine, still.
Summer has to end at some point.
