I Wish
I wish I was strong
I wish I could say
I wish I knew how to tell her
That those ‘friends’ she has
Play it fake
They say that she’s rude
They say that she’s dumb
They all say she’s annoying
All but one
Why can’t she see
That through the silence
There is only conflict
Inside and out
She looks hurt by the words
But destroyed by the thought
Of telling who she calls her best friend
Something from her heart
