Untitled
It had been a long day full of expectation,
empathy and sympathy.
Ironically, it felt like no one understood her
So much energy put into each line of her sentence
Her words seemed to weaken
And lose their meaning
As she repeatedly argued against her brother’s will
And whether or not
He should go live with their dad
Or stay with their mom
It seemed like a decade has passed
Once her words finally had a meaning
And her voice seemed to empower with every line she said
Her brother chose the right decision
He would stay with their mom
And visit their dad
