The Vulture
Flying low
looking for prey
it looms and glides
down to the barren land
The Vulture flies
and we see it’s wings
the left
the right
Do they look so different now
as the beast’s claws
dig into the innocent mouse?
It attacks without cause
it takes without reason
it destroys with no hope
Yet still
we like to choose a wing
the left or right
it doesn’t matter
It’s the same bird
the same beast
the same vulture
