“It's a metaphor, see: You put the killing thing right between your teeth, but you don't give it the power to do its killing.”

― John Green, The Fault in Our Stars

With bland eyes

My sight has faltered,

With acid tears

I'm afraid to cry.

"My, oh, my what a sight,"

One might say,

But I cannot see

Without the help

Of a looking

glass.

I...I can see

Clear as day through

These bright eyes,

But I know

I cannot see

The meaning of truth

For what has consumed

Me is so much more

Then a cat after a rat,

Or a rat after cheese,

Please...

Hit send and don't pretend

I will understand if you give me hint

After hint

Cause I'm Blind...

Not with my eyes,

But my heart...

The author's comments:

This poem is mainly about people around me and how some family and friends act around me. Almost as though they feel I know everything when I tell them I don't. I hope that other people that feel this know that others feel it too. If there is anyothers that feel the same.
