Whenever I diversify outside of my race
It makes me scared
It’s risky
Gambling on a bad investment
It's safer this way
Keeping a poker face
When they’ll use that language on us
Which they save for incestuous relationships
or teacher/student relationships

I’m tired of the labels
I guess we’re all waiting on the world to change, progress or something
This world is so taxing and I don’t want to be governed anymore
...but I can only see the costs
Instead of what we can profit
Our love will anger so many people and I don’t have any fight left in me
But I know that I’m willing to gamble
