We only hid enough of us –
so, others could not see.
Quick to hate – Slow to accept
That we were different
Wishing to be like them,but never
Never were we to admit it –
It drove us crazy, passing them each day
Resentful– Longing–
Covetous of their looks, family, friends–
We desired their life –
