I scream, awaiting a fresh adventure,
something I have yet to experience.
Excitement is scattered on top of me.
Stepping in, overwhelmed by awe,

An earthy smell shoots up my nose. I sniffle
as my eyes catch the surprising beauty.
Oohs and ahhs reverberate.
One butterfly lands on me and I freeze,

One after the other, they fly to my arms,
like a parrot flying to his owner.
They are incredible and magical.
Brilliant, bright colored creatures circle me,

I spy the unspoken beauty,
as children play.
I stop and think, oh what a wonderful life.
The incredibility engulfs me,

You and me should stay here, and just stare,
while butterflies swarm us.
