I love you, I loath you
Love and Loath
Love is to open sky
As loathing is to the
Darkness of the night.
The love inside me
Turns into the light that
Shines, oh so bright.
The loathing inside me
Turns everything black,
A world without light.
Yet, I sit here thinking of
You, and somehow you
Make me feel both.
You have brought me
Joy and happiness, and
Changed my eye sight.
You went out and found
Another flower for the night.
So, your love became the
Lies that vanished my bright
Light.
And from that day forth I
Loathed you, yet my love
For you steered my sight.
At the end you left me broken
And now I feel like the fool who
Was blinded by love.
I now sit here loving and loathing
You. They are so different, yet a
Thin thread separates them.
