Don't Dare

I may be a little insane,
because in my brain,
you still care.
But, I don't dare
say that you care a lot.
I know you do not,
you've hurt me more than I can bare,
therefore you mustn't care.
I wish you did,
as I was just a kid.
I'll never understand
why you treated me so bad.
You could've loved me, my dear mother.
You should've loved me, my dear father.
Now, both of you are a little insane
because in your brain
I still care.
However, now, I don't dare
