Domestic violence
You saw her anger.
You saw his tears.
You knew she yelled at him.
You knew he was hurting.
She tried to apologize,
By buying him shoes,
Buying a car,
Attempting to buy his love back,
but never verbally.
So he was done.
Tired of apologizing,
“Its okay it was my fault”
Tired of hiding the bruises,
Tired of keeping back the bruises,
Tired of locking up his feelings.
But what she never saw,
Is that he could provide for himself.
So he left,
finally feeling free,
And she was broken inside,
because she knew it was her fault .
DOMESTIC VIOLENCE ISN’T ALWAYS A MAN BEATING A WOMAN . It can be a woman beating a man, a woman beating a woman, a man beating a man, THERE SHOULDN’T BE STEREOTYPES ON DOMESTIC VIOLENCE BECAUSE SOMEONE THEY LOVE IS SABOTAGING THEIR HAPPINESS, AND THEY ARE PROBABLY HURTING IN ANY WAY POSSIBLE AND NO ONE SHOULD HAVE TO GO THROUGH THAT ALONE .

Im not sure what inspired this, but it has been on my mind due to recent events on social media. I hope people understand that it isn't a joke, and no matter what we are all human and we should support each other, not bring each other down, no matter the situation they're in .
