Star Clouds
A white blue moon
captivates the landscape,
pushing and pulling
pushing and pulling.
And in the midst of it,
lying in the grass,
two souls stare
into the universe,
into the movement,
into each other.
The push
and
the pull.
And two hearts beat to the rhythm,
like the ebb and flow of the tides
crashing against an alien shore.
Push
pull
push
pull.

I was inspired to wrote this poem by staring up at the moon for what seemed like hours one night. I was completely mezmorized by its beauty and distant coolness. I felt as if I could feel it pushing and pulling me, the tides, and the earth.
