Overcoming
The soldier fighting the war in my head
Is far from dead.
He does not fear the irrational
Because he believes in the factual.
He charges on into danger
Because to him, fear is no stranger.
He will not be beaten;
He has defeated demon after demon.
His grit has helped me grow strong,
And because of him, my fears are gone.
