I'm Golden
I open my eyes
And everything's blue
From the clouds around me
To the eyes looking up at you
Pieces of me are falling off
But I'll find my way back
I'm struggling to hold on
And we both know that
You can fight your own fight
I'm sick of hiding in cracks
Let me grow
My bones are crumbling and snapped
This is my golden age
Ripped jeans and picking at scabs
I'm unlocking the doors
And I'm laying on the roof
Because the dreams I dreamt
Are becoming the truth
They're lighting my life
And the sunshine is proof
A body a mind and a soul
The balance is found
We become all the colors
And the colors turn to sounds
I'll do it on my own again
I've grown together like vines
I glow like the golden age
And the sun won't let me die
